today, i rode out to the auto parts then to the fool hall to practice some 14.1. i managed a run of 54 before making a stupid positional error with three balls left on the table. it was not a great run but since selling my table about five months ago, i've played only a handful of times. the tables were nice olhausen 8+ with somewhat persnickety pockets. the balls were dirty and the cloth, burlap. at least my stroke is coming back though and i stopped missing my break-balls. oh, and i was using a Players sneeky pete that i bought from Ozone. it plays as good as any cue i've ever owned.

Not bad. Hopefully, you'll get access to a good table again soon.
54 under those conditions is quite good.

thanks dennis; i didn't mention the evil cig smoke. damn that's a distraction for me. oh and the fat ladies who kept wanting to play with me. :yikes: i was glad to leave and get on my motersiclkle for some fresh air. i can still feel the smoke in my lungs this morning..... the highlight of that run was breaking up two-ball cluster down-table using a ball near the foot and making a ball after getting frozen on the pack. i did the hard part then screwed up easy position. :speechless:
