I've seen my fair share of red (figuratively only) at the table. For certain personality types, the frustration can be overwhelming. I assume he gave himself a nice concussion to go with that cut, but hopefully nothing more serious. It sounds like he has good people at his side, so hopefully he's already sorting out whatever led to this. Best to him and his loved ones.
