I don't own a Pool Room but I've read Covid-19 can live on cotton for 2 days. Certainly we'll be washing hands but how much more should be done and how often?

I came across a pdf from the Clorox company for a 2400ppm mixture of Chlorine Bleach and water that it says will kill the Coronavirus. I'll post it when I find it again. The mixture is on page 5. The amount suggested was 1 tablespoon per 16oz of water.

However I've seen a mixture suggested by the CDC that said 1/3cup per 1 gallon so that sounds like my mix is close.

I used chlorine based sanitation in my employment so it does get weaker over a few days time. You can get test strips.

You can't smell it at the level I use it. I use it to sanitize my hands. I won't pretend to know how good it will work on cloth but as cheap as it is it's probably worth trying to use it as a spray and let air dry.

Since this thing is transferred through the air in microdroplets shouldn't we have a way to sanitize everything? We are all over cloth, so this is something that should be discussed. Lysol is that an effective alternate?

Maybe we have some experts in this here to advise us? https://www.thecloroxcompany.com/wp-content/uploads/5813_100_service-bulletins_20160708.pdf

It doesn't matter. The problem is your opponent and anyone else in the room, not the equipment.

I'm no disinfectant expert, but I do know that your 2400ppm ratio is only ~1/10 of the other ratios.

1/2 cup to 1 gallon
1/4 cup to 1/2 gal
1/8 cup to 32oz/ 1/4 gallon
1/16 cup to 1/8 gal or 16oz

1/16 cup is 1 Tablespoon

I only make a little. Enough for the personal spray bottle I keep with me. Making a lot for my personal use is too much waste.

I use a half tablespoon to 8 oz of water for the sprayer bottle I use.

That seems risky using a bleach on a colored cloth, even if it is diluted.

pt109 says alcohol, diluted

My special brew since the china attack has been Lysol and Woolite
plus some alcohol next time which is overdue, haven't had any visitors for 2 weeks,
assuming the predictions on this virus are accurate things should be safe.

There is a thing about alcohol, dyes and inks, they do mix,
so I'll be adding just a little alcohol.

1:30 ratio. Approximately 2 tsp per 16 oz water maximum of 1\3 tsp for 16oz water minimum. There are several ratio charts online with breakdowns.

There are other products that work well and safe for disinfecting upholstery, carpets, etc that can still be found, at least locally here. OdoBan is one, used for cleaning up pet soils, it is a disinfectant but not supposed to be used for food contact and obviously not as a hand sanitizer.

The above is for a typical spray bottle.

Web search Fulton distributing dilution ratio chart for a pdf with breakdowns.

I started with the CDC website and found this link. Has different chemicals
and uses and is searchable. Quaternary Ammonia sounds like an option instead of Chlorine.
