For Quick Sale: It's George - Ebony 4 point Bushka Cue

EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO BUY. PLEASE, NO PM's. My box is always full and you will likely not get a response via PM. EMAILS ONLY.

Bought this cue as is from another AZer a couple years back with the intention of refinishing and putting away. As it turned out, it was such a good player, I never bothered with the refinish. If you want a player, this is it AS IS. Otherwise, you may want to have it refinished for a pristine It's George Bushka cue. I saw Howard Vickery use a similar It's George cue 20 years ago and have wanted one since. The Ebony points and white joint and buttcap really set this cue off even though it's a simple players cue! It is a sexy yet understated classic design, traditional as I like to say.

Cue plays strong. 4 beautiful long Ebony points into Birdseye Maple forearm. Black and white boxed Bushka ring above the wrap. Double black wrap really compliments the points and sleeve. Solid Ebony buttsleeve. 5/16-14 It's George joint screw. White Delrin buttcap, and a white Ivory substitute piloted joint. Silver rings in black phenolic joint collars above and below joint. 2 shafts.

Butt: 15.5oz (with weight bolt). Straight
Shaft 1: 3.7, 12.8mm, LePro
Shaft 2: 4oz 12.8mm, Kamui Med

Shaft 1 has less than 1mm taper roll.
Shaft 2 has slight warpage, but, it is the heavier shaft and pays lights out (which is why I had the Kamui installed on this shaft).

Not sure of lengths, but guessing standard. Will update that info shortly.

No trades. Price is firm as I'm taking a loss already. Cash, credit or Postal Money Order only! Will not send first. Will escrow.

$500 plus fees gets it.

EMAIL ONLY PLEASE.

It's George

I have a few questions.

The ferrules are made from what?

What is the balance point of the cue with the 4 oz. shaft?

Are the points even?

What are ther lengths of the butt and shafts?

Will the cue accept a Schick 5/16x14 piloted shaft? This is not a stupid question. If you don't know the answer to this question, I don't need to know the other answers. But other AZers may want to know them.

Nice looking cue.

Greg

Weekend bump. Answers for Greg's questions forthcoming, even the silly set up question about the pin (which has already been discussed ad nauseum).

New Year Bumpage...
Someone buy this bad boy before I have to go and get it refinished and ask $650 for it in mint shape.

TTT with this simple sexy classic. Throw this in a newly made It's George case and you're ready to hit the road!

My It's George could is the brother of your or sister, just my cue has the striched ring and the ring work close to the wrap was turned down. Im currently restoring mine, your cue looks great. I have had mine for about 15 years. Did you sell this already?

If you don't want to go to the trouble for $500, I understand, but if you'd like to split the difference on that four hours and meet up someplace where I could check out your cue in person, I'd probably buy it.
If interested, pm me and we can meet in the near future and get that cue off the market.

Just a Wednesday bump...
This lil ole cue has brought out more tire kickers than a free Bushka.
