For Sale - 1970's Vintage Bill Schick "Gambler" -- Bill's Personal Playing Cue - MINT

i have a bushka with 7 rings above the wrap very similar to this cue, this Schick cue is awesome. I would be on it but I just bought a collection of cues and am taking it easy for a while.

Hi Eric:

Not to worry. I have no intention of moving this cue unless my price is met. I will show it to you when we meet at the Derby in January 2008. Bill Schick told me in an e-mail that if he had this cue today, his asking price would be $15,000.00. If anyone does not believe my representation, I will forward Bill's e-mail to me on the subject, or they can call Bill and ask him. This is a highly collectible cue that will be worth more than $20,000.00 in the next 5-15 years, perhaps sooner. Best regards.

In 15 years, 20k will be chump change, and gasoline will be $22.00 per gallon.
If he would sell it for 15k today, it better be worth 50k minimum, keeping up with
The current rate of inflation. Just keeping er real mikey ole boy!

The cue is simply awesome, but I couldn't help notice how he turned the heart upside down on the point unlike the club and spade which are rightside up. I apologize ahead of time for pointing this out. To some it is petty. To me, it is an inconsistency tat would bug me. An upside down heart??? Maybe it is the telltale heart.

Please don't kill the messenger.

You are way off base. If the heart were turned around the cue would look ridiculous.
