- Playing Off The Rail by David McCumber story of the author's prolonged road trip hustling pool with pool pro Tony Annigoni 1996
-Great Pool Stories by Robert Byrnes 300 pages 31 short stories (mostly true) about pool listed chronilogically from 1829 to 1992, interesting read.
- Encyclopedia of Billiards by Mike Shamos 306 pages covering current and historical facts about all aspects of pool and billiards
