PM Response

I received a few PM's and will add weight details of shafts and butts of cues as well as of Gilbert and both shafts on Monday.

Thanks for the interest and the Southwest is, I believe 19.7 oz.

Lots of trade interest on all cues

I would like to say thank you for all of the interest on the cues and am considering details of a couple possible trades, but as they say... Money Talks.

Gilbert J/B is sold.

PM's replied.

Thanks,
Kent

Additional Specs...

Balance Points of Durbin Cue are 18" with the 13mm Shaft and 18.25" with the 13.25mm shaft.

Balance Point for the BCM is between 18.5" and 18.75" with either shaft.

I will post individual handle and shaft weights Tuesday, however both cues have weight bolts and could be adjusted slightly.

Southwest balance point is between 18.25" and 18.5" with either shaft.

I've never known of Southwest using Ironwood in a cue. I was wondering if there is some way to validate that wood?
Thanks

Ironwood...

I have a call in to Laurie to confirm.

Also all specific weights for individual shafts and handles will be updated this evening after I get home.

correction.

I apologize. The Points are confirmed by Laurie to be Pau Ferro shipped with (2) 13mm pro taper shafts. The Veneers are listed as maple and light blue in Southwests records. Laurie states that the cue shipped from the desert at 19.9oz.

I was mistaken as the JP's from Jim Baxter have Ironwood tops and match perfectly.

I will post current weights of all shafts and handles this evening and if any other photos would be useful please feel free to PM with your email address and what you would like to see.

Thanks,

Durbin Length?

Put a Tape Measure on it just now.... Sorry it's 59". 29 1/2" in both shafts, and 29 1/2" from the face of the Joint to the butt cap without the bumper...
