I reduced the price on this cue to $2,499 and sold it the first day. I got paid. I shipped. My buyer calls me up and asks "is that a crack or a scratch on the played shaft?". I was all, "huh"? So he sends it back, I look and there it is but I can't tell if its a scratch or a crack, so I take it to Ernie.
First he says "scratch", then he says "maybe a crack". So there you go, its either a scratch or a crack in the played shaft. The shaft doesn't ping cracked when tapped either end, and feels and sounds solid hitting balls. The cue is price more than $1500 below JW's price when new.
I can shave a bit off on a direct purchase.
