For sale early 1970s shaft with micarta ferrule.

Shaft has .5 and .65 splits under ferrule. Shaft is still very solid, no buzz of affect on hit. Tip of 1 inch micarta ferrule is 11.5mm in diameter. Under ferrule wood is 11.88mm. Perfectly smooth pro taper. Shaft never under 11.88 mm in first few inches. Full 29 inches face of ferrule to top of ferrule. The name "Tom"
etched in face of joint collar. 5/16-14 fine thread insert. I kniw Stroud early on used a finer thread pin. Shaft is from first few years he was on his own. Collar needs refinish to remedy few tiny nicks at edge and to restore. New insert could be inserted if needed. Shaft is straight...tinyest of taper rolls not even a mm. 3.7 ounces
