For Sale: Paul Mottey Sneaky Pete

Paul Mottey sneaky pete. One shaft, ivory ferrule, 12.6 mm. Rolls straight. Not sure of the wood. Brass insert. Brown and white linen. No scratches or dings in cue. Has one little chip in bottom of butt cap (see pic). One little cut in the wrap (see pic). Cue seems to have a hand rubbed finish.
No trades unless for Hercek cues.

I think so. I bought from a respected seller. Just to be sure I e-mailed Paul with the pics and I am waiting his response.

Looks like Paul's signature but not with the artist type pen he normally uses.....

I agree, it does look like Paul's signature. He must have only had a big block marker pen in the shop that day

Yep....

...it's his signature...or a REALLY good copy of it.

It's a shame, really. If the signature had been done with a normal artist's pen, it would look pretty good. The fat-tipped Sharpie signature doesn't look as nice.....

...if it is one of his cues (and I'm pretty sure it is..since vinnie bought it from a reputable guy), I bet it plays nice!

Ok, this e-mail just came from Paul:
This is a cue made by me. The signature is starting to fade, but that was a common occurence. For a while I was using the wrong type of pen. Didin't know of the problem because it akes a couple years for the ink to break down from the light.
