Ok, here's the deal- I bought this cue as soon as I heard they were coming out. I pre ordered mine because I wanted a low number. I ended up getting #38/500.
Well, in the time it took to receive my cue, I stumbled across a very nice custom player that I fell in love with. When this Willie Hoppe cue arrived, I was already hooked on my new custom cue. I took it out of the case and test hit it only. Then I put it back in its matching case and just stored it. That was almost ten years ago!
I decided that it was finally time to take it out and see if someone else may want a very nice, very rare limited edition cue. You never see these come up for sale.
NOW, read this next part carefully- IMPORTANT!!!
I took the cue out and inspected it. I literally bought this ten years ago and put it away the same day I bought it. As far as I am concerned, it is BRAND NEW and PRISTINE condition. HOWEVER, upon further inspection, there is one VERY slight ding in the butt, AND the butt does NOT roll straight.
To be clear, The predator 314-2 shaft is PERFECT. Unplayed, unchalked, and DEAD straight.
But the the butt is off and does NOT roll true. Of course when the cue is together, the same is true. This is not a huge deal, does not affect play, but needs to be disclosed to any prospective buyer.
I have an offer on the cue and case, but was curious to see if anyone else may be interested.
This includes The cue, the matching case, and predator joint caps.
I will try to post pics later, and of course will provide them on request.
I am just trying to get a feel if there is any interest.
I have already been asked about trades. The only thing I am interested in at the moment, would be a new BK3 with leather wrap and a predator sport case (2x4 in black). So if you are a dealer and want to trade, you can make a good deal on this!
