2 Purple Heart with mild curly Maple fronts
I've been a woodworker for years and have recently decide to turn my attention to full splice construction both veneered and non
I've made a lot of these but until now Pat Diveney has purchased all of them

In my experience, with my Dad being a retired master Craftsman in woodworking for over 55-60 years, most woodworkers deal with a plus/minus factor of about 1/16 of an inch and a 10-20% waste factor. When it comes to cuemaking or cue parts building, a lot of woodcrafter's cannot get into the .010" or lower that cuebuilder's deal with. My Dad has watched me do stuff in my shop and all he does is say "in my day it didn't have to be that close"..etc. So for most woodworkers, it's a whole new world with a lot of precision that they aren't used to. When it comes down to it, what passes for awesome in cabinet making, is perceived as a hack in the cuemaking world. Just two different worlds, some can make the change, but some cannot.
