Yes sir

I know people shun McDermott cues here and I get that to a point. This cue is just stunning and priced to move. Will try to sell it here first and share something nice with an AZB member. I expect it would be a quick sell on Ebay, no rush to put it there just yet.

It is just an offer. You posted an "asking" price and I made an offer. What is your problem? You can accept, reject, or counter!

Knocking? So, only prices are permitted by the seller and buyers cannot post offers? Please clarify.

Hi Luke

Your estimation of value is not appropriate in another person's for sale thread. If you want to make an offer, just send the seller a PM. Hope that helps.

Thanks

Kevin

So if I Google an item or check completed listings on EBAY to find recent sale prices it should'nt be used as as offer in a post for an item for sale? At least it brackets what is acceptable to the seller in items not listed as"firm" regarding price. I would have thought that would help both paties arrive at a fair, agreed on price.

That's correct Luke. Please make your offers via PM. Arrive at your fair agreed on price in private.

Thanks again

Kevin

Kevin,
Isn't linking to EBAY prohibited? Are you making up your own rules?
http://forums.azbilliards.com//showthread.php?t=25061

This is an update to the regular forum rules.

If you are going to participate in the " Wanted / for Sale " area of AZB, your items for sale or trade MUST be pool related or strictly offered for trade for a pool related item.
Any Posts without an Item For Sale, Trade or Wanted to buy will be deleted.
"Price check" threads are not allowed.

There will be NO cash offers etc. for NON pool related items.

If you are going to post in another's sale or trade thread, if you are knocking their thread, you will received warnings and bans as with regular rule violations.

You have NO right to criticize or complain regarding pictures, prices etc.
Everyone is expected to participate in a civil manner and if there are violations, you may report them anonymously via the "report post " button in the upper right hand corner of each post.

Either buy from an individual or don't but knocking them is not an option.

It is also strongly suggested that you use an escrow service when making any purchase.

As always, feel free to ask questions if you don't understand something.

You can reach myself or Mike Howerton ( azhousepro ) if you need help.

Please do not link sales from other sites..ebay or other. This forum is for items being bought and sold here.
Due to abusive bumping of threads, please limit bumps to one a day.

Luke

I tried, in the spirit of community that some of us feel, to put you hip to the fact that here on AZ we don't offer each other 1/2 of out asking prices in our For Sale threads. Clearly you know better and don't need my guidance.

Thanks again

Kevin

Luke

Luke, the item is not for sale... TO YOU

I know exactly what you are inferring and I do not appreciate it. I have asked you directly twice that you refrain in my PM's and see that you continue to derail my listing.

Consider yourself REPORTED

I appreciate the support here from the other members. Never thought giving this cue a home would be so exciting.

BTW I have a serious offer from my friend in Singapore. Let's close the deal friend, I'm ready to ship. If you accept my counter offer this cue is sold. Please get back to me ASAP so I can mark this as sold.

Shouldn't the rules apply to all who use these forums? Why should anyone feel exempt? Report away if you feel you have an issue.
