i'm thinking two piece shafts, maybe just a few in the bag , removable club heads and pool style compact cases

for the Golf pros, couldn't clubs have pool joints?

Remember golf line of shot is perpendicular to the shaft, and exerts 100% force along the shaft max at club, and decrease as the lever action decreases, where as pool is in line with line of aim, only lateral force is if you use english or miss cue, or elevated..
So the joint might have to be large dia or heavy which could effect momentum of shots due to heavy weight..
Not really, too much going on in a golf shaft. Each one is a different length, the weight needs to remain pretty much the same so as not to effect swing weight and MOI, flex needs to be consistent and predictable for each club. Trust me, it's been thought of, every gimmick out there has been thought of for golf. There is a reason why golf clubs have remained how they are.
Pool cues, when hit, have linear load.
Golf clubs, when hit, have lateral load.
Adding joints, to the shaft, will stiffen the shaft and create weak points.
Why would anyone do that? You are aware that golf clubs have a different length shaft on every club. You gonna have 14 pool style compact cases? How would you carry them? You gonna fit 20 or 30 balls in those compact cases? Tees, umbrella, rain gear, etc? Do you even play golf?
If you want to figure out something, figure out a way for us NOT to have a joint on a pool cue.
