boy, its a good thing they disclosed that they used whiteout in the picture to cover some copyright info. Otherwise I never would have noticed. :p

No patent from what I can tell, rather you get a "potential design patent".

I've got a smaller one I don't use any more

I've actually got one of the 18" models that I bought off ebay
a couple years ago. It came in a case like a briefcase, and one
of the cues was broken at the joint. I bought it to use as a
teaching aid, as it is *real* handy to use to very quickly show
some layouts to explain safeties, patterns, best position routes
and stuff like that. It is so much quicker than trying to do that
kind of stuff on a real table, and it is portable. But the table
is not 1x2 in proportion but for what it is, it's pretty neat.

Anyway, trying to play a game on it gets old in about 10 minutes!

I had put it up for sale at onepocket.org a year or so ago
before I found this forum, but got no bites at $25! :)
 
I'm thinking of hanging mine on the wall in the pool room ... 3-D art : a table completely out of level but apparently worth a lot of money if it were ! The cues are tiny and useless for anything but the little balls, which are way too cool imo, and a lot of fun on the big table with big cues :D

I like the idea of using a tiny table as an in-person teaching aid.

Another funny (or maybe potential-filled) idea I had was to bring it into a pool room, while dressed in
business-style clothing, just a shirt/tie/dress-pants. It looks just like a briefcase, so it would look just like
I got out of work. When someone would ask me to play, and I knew they were much better, I would say
OK, but I get to choose the table, any table in the house, OK?.

Well, that's when I'd open up the briefcase, setup the table, and ... (You get the picture!) Of course, I
would have had to get pretty good on that table first, which I could probably never bring myself to do.
But it is an interesting idea if you ask me. (And I want 5% of the take, if anyone pursues this) :)
