FORTIS Owners?

Its Wonderful! It's a louder shaft but I don't mind that vocal feedback at all, and the performance is best I have played with out of all the carbon shafts. If you have a revo or any very low deflection shaft you shouldn't need to adjust at all. The shaft takes parallel English very well, front hand English extremely well and back had English ( I don't use ) I'd say just as good. The feedback is better than the Revo, the performance is top notch, I have not one complaint with the shaft, it just feels solid and well made. Other's have said their shaft came in at 3.75oz mine is 4oz but it is well balanced and isn't a problem for me. The Fortis Pro 12mm is well worth the money in my opinion and I am very grateful for the price JoeRackem on eBay gave me! I have zero changes I want to do to it unlike all the other carbon shafts I have owned in the past.

Nice to hear such a positive experience. I’m thinking of getting a Tiger cue soon - I‘ve had a few cues retipped by them and they are good folks, it would be a nice feeling to use something made in Los Angeles, too :)

I agree! I think im going to get a full cue as well. I love the Jane on syberts! https://seyberts.com/collections/ti...ortis-pro-carbon-shaft?variant=43097270124742 Its gorgeous!

That’s a beauty! I did a walk around the factory with their owner, they have some amazing stuff there, a lot of zebrawood and some striking looking bocote.

I quite like their reverse forearm pattern Sneaky Pete’s, I’m going to get them to build me something like this, but with bocote:

That sounds like It would be hella fun! Both bacote and zibra wood have great tone to them should make for a great player. I was also thinking of potentially going the traveler series direction possibly.

I finally bought the Tiger ebony/zebrawood Traveler with the Fortis 12mm shaft. I must say it plays beautifully - compared to the Mezz Ignite I’m coming from it seems I have slightly better feedback and more control on the cue ball. It feels more accurate, but early days, need to live with it for a few weeks.

Becue shafts are priced on the higher end as well but in the long run it won't really be that expensive, with shipping ect. let's say it cost you $700, in 1 year that is less than $70 a month, in 5 years that's less than $35 a month, you are a pool addict not a crack addict, if it was crack it would cost you way more money and you would have no teeth 😀

@HueblerHustler7
I own the the fortis pro and fortis ld , imo these shafts have the best feedback/feel of any shaft Ive owned or tried in regard to carbon fiber shafts.
When comparing to the revo 11.8 , either of the fortis shafts offer similar LD/squirt to revo, but have alot more feel.
Compared to becue engage 11.8 or 12.3, fortis is not as stiff, but seems to have less squirt and definitely has better feel/feedback. The weight of the fortis Ld is 3.65oz, the weight of the fortis pro is 3.75oz.
Fortis pro is anywhere from .30oz- .50oz lighter than revo 11.8, engage 11.8.

Obviously as you know the tip can change the feel , but heres the thing , I have the ultraskin pro e.s. on the engage 11.8, revo 11.8, and fortis pro, and the fortis pro still clearly has better feel/feedback than all the others.
The Becue Prime II 12.0 shaft feels like a wood shaft that transfers power better, there is feedback from the shaft as well as flex, last week my teammate said he wondered why I was hitting the cueball so hard because of the action on the cueball I was getting, a little later he came and said after watching me some more he realized I was not hitting the cueball hard at all and couldn't believe I was drawing the ball that far hitting it so easy, this is the best shaft I have ever owned 😀
