Hi everyone,

I apologize for pretty much signing up here to advertize and hope that it's okay. Over the last few months I have been working on an Android app to capture straight pool games as well as 8-/9-/10-ball games. Yesterday I released the first official full version and I'd like to share it with you!

If you'd like to take a look at it first you are welcome to try the free version first. it comes with a few limitations and will, as of yesterday, not be updated anymore; right now it has almost the same functionality as the full version, though (except said limitations). Important: You cannot keep your data when switching from the free to the full version!

All this being said – I'm looking forward to some of you trying this app out and I'd love to hear your feedback, may it be that you like it or criticism. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome too!

Current Features:
  • Track 14.1 and 8-/9-/10-Ball games with an user interface designed to allow for quick and simple usage
  • All games can be paused and resumed later on
  • Includes all standard situations like the 3-foul-rule, but also exotic situations like a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct can be entered
  • View games individually afterwards with details on the result
  • Manage player profiles and favorite the people you play with the most
  • Detailed statistics on every player, split into every discipline
  • Manage game profiles to quickly set up games
  • Easy Access: No need to unlock the phone when the screen was turned off – or even let your device never fall asleep (warning: consumes a lot of battery)
  • More to come! This was just v1.0.0 :wink:

By the way: I had a few people ask me to add support for Bonus Ball. If anyone else is interested in that, please let me know (more people = higher priority :wink:). Otherwise I'll have a few different things I'd like to add/improve first.
Oh, and if you try & like my app it'd be nice to rate it or even write a little review on the Play Store. Helps other people who are looking for an app! :)
 
Is there going to be an iphone app version?

Ive been looking for an app to track my practice against the ghost and maybe some 14.1 practice.

This is not the for sale forum. You should move it there.or better yet do the proper thing and advertise here on AZ. At the very least become a subscriber to help support the forum.

When you're done being five years old I'd like to get back to the topic. I'm sure someone will move or close this thread if needed. Meanwhile, you go play outside. Or grow up. Just don't do it here. I appreciate it.
 
Awesome app. Brings a whole new way to track games and keep score. The price was awesome! Could even use this app to practice against the ghost and keep an accurate score. I love the shot clock too.

If you give me some more information I will try looking into it. What device and what Android version are you running? Are you "sure" that it doesn't work? Also you may just wanna try un- and reinstalling it.

Edit: Oh and the "Start Game" buttons will only work after you have selected two (different!) players. Selecting yourself twice, for example, won't work. Either create a player profile to load or taphold the second player area to enter a name without creating a profile for it.

If you're suggesting that he is a friend of mine – I'd be happy to forward you to another (German) forum where lots of people (around 200) have already tried my app and the overall response was good. You don't need insider knowledge, you just need to have used the app once and you know how to use it.

Please take your issues somewhere else.

Currently only 14.1 and 8-/9-/10-Ball, sorry! I might add more games in the future, but it will take a while as I have other things I want to implement first.
