If this was your tournament I would say you should treat your cousin like any other competitor, especially the second time around. I understand a race to two isn't a big deal but unless you treat everyone the same fair play does come into question.

Other than that, friends and family I am more likely to bust their chops over a mistake than call a foul if we are just playing together.

You’re right, fairness is important, especially in a tournament setting. I definitely want to keep it competitive and consistent for everyone. When it’s just casual play though, I’m more about having fun and messing around with family and friends!
