It was a real tough sweat for me!...I had a few bets on Busty, and it looked like he was going to play "give-up" pool, every other game!..Poor Tony finally had to mis-cue, to force him to win..I feel like I hit the lotto! (right Fast Lenny?)

For those that didn't watch it was a great match every session was great the commentary was great well worth the money. At one point last night chohan lost his lead and during a hill hill game or 7-6 busty made some kind of terrific bank and while the ball was rolling to his hole he started cheering and yelling something along the lines of COME ON BABY lol and I mean yelling. He makes the ball wins the game tony gets up to rack and right away starts on busty and I couldn't make out what he was saying but the commentators said that one thing he said was," let's roll it back and bet 100,000" .

Idk about anyone else but I would loveeeee to see a match that big I mean the original Hong Kong color of money was 100,000 but to my understanding the players didn't bet there was 100k to the winner provided by the promoter either way I'd love the see a high stakes pool match of that magnitude.

Any way I freaking passed out at 20-20 so I didn't see the final games but I'm wondering how things turned out after busty won. Daniel was saying things were getting heated and there was obvious tension so did things go smoothly ? Did any future matchup barking take place? I'm sure chohan accepted defeat with class but was there any bickering or fighting after the match?

All In all great match I enjoyed every day I think having players that even makes for an awesome match

Tony's posted on Facebook he tried to play another set but Busty and his backers apparently declined and Tony is not very happy about it either lol

I love how all the experts predicted a fast paced agressive gun slinger match and it turned out to be the complete opposite for the majority of the games lol. Not ripping on anyone cuz I figured the same. I will admit that the up table ticky all defense games can get tedious and be boring to an uneducated viewer but I'll say that I learned so much watching them play this style and it made every game seem like a battle. Also when u lose one of those hard fought one ball at a time games it's devastating. The game itself is so different when these top pros play I mean no lead is ever safe every shot has multiple levels of intention and one persons advantage can quickly be turned around it makes for good entertainment knowing every shot is important and those games are never over until that last ball is pocketed. I love it

This match had to be very frustrating to Tony. He knows that he can out move Busti, but he just couldn't consistently make shots or run out. Tony gave away so many opportunities in the ball running department, Busti was very fortunate.

Your post was spot on. Whenever two top players play a big money match and they're equals it usually goes like this match did because of the respect they have for one another and also the money and ranking status certainly are huge factors as well.

Very close and entertaining match. The big swings was a testament to the ability and heart that both of these two champions have, very impressive.

The people that thought that this was going to be a fast paced match must respect that whenever two top players play that truly understand the game they will respect the game and that's exactly what we saw. Like i mentioned in my other post, it's all about respect, respect for the money, respect for one another, respect for our rep, and respect for the game.:thumbup2:

I also think that this was yet another time where the superior shooter came out on top of the superior mover.

EDIT: I should say that Tony is every bit as good of a banker as Busti, but that's where the comparison ends in the shooting department.

17lbs is about right.... What a match.. Thank you to povpool for a great stream... Only had to reset once or twice.. Scoring was a bit confusing on the first day , but over all .. Great stream...I will always be a supporter...

Congratulations to Busty.

Not to take anything away from Busty's win, but 1p is such a tough grind. Even after 3 long days of 1p, to say who's the better 1p player is still difficult.

Well being quoted n replied to,not to mention told my description was spot on, by a legendary player, commentater, and pool enthusiast like Bill Incardona leaves me feeling honored and put a kool aid smile on my face lol. I'm not being sarcastic or facetious I appreciate the response. but that's why azb is awesome i can connect with people I'd most likely never communicate with and see the opinions and thoughts of everyone in the pool community from legends to beginners to 20 year olds to old timers and everyone in between.

To be honest I've played pool since I was 14 n I'm now 25 and at times seriously and until 6 months ago I never had an interest In one pocket. For whatever reason,I guess I ran out of rotation videos on YouTube, I got into the game and I truly love and appreciate it and since then I think I've watched all streams and bought each ppv and will continue to. Anyways the moral is one pocket is awesome I'm hooked thanks pov for the stream I know it takes a ton of work and I want to thank all the commentators without them I surely wouldn't enjoy the streams nearly as much.

Ps I too loved all the stories and reminiscing done by Ed Kelly and cotton and everyone else I'd prolly pay just to hear them lol

GaG..I viewed it just the opposite..Busti is the better, more experienced mover of the two..Neither one made a great showing running balls...As close as these two play, it all boils down to trapping, and getting out of traps..Busti would not have prevailed if he didn't have the edge in the moving department!...His ball running, and banking was just average at best!

This is one of the best matches played in a long time. At Hill Hill I could barely take it any longer. Both players were getting short tempered.

Daniel hit it out of the park with this match up. There should be a rematch.
