Frank Paradise cue joint size?

Does anybody know what joint size would be on a mid-1960's Frank Paradise cue? I inherited my grandfather's when he passed away and would like to get joint protectors for it but have no idea what size joint it has or how to figure out the joint size.

Go to your local hardware store or machine shop is available and ask to use a Vernia. The pin is an undersized 5/16 X 14 the o.d. could be any where from .820 to .850.
