MAKE SURE you are talking to the correct individual your looking to do buisness with. Cross reference social media and phone numbers please.There are alot scammers out there that will find out information of both parties and pretend to be them. It makes me so angry.

I’m proud to be involved with a small group of folks who make limited edition pool ball sets. Last year a scoundrel on Facebook used our photographs and product descriptions in an attempt to scam unsuspecting collectors. I warned everyone to the best of my ability but it’s beyond infuriating.

Sending money via friends and family to random people on Facebook makes no sense.

Get their phone number. Call them.
If they are genuine they won't mind.

If they've claimed to be from xxx town. Look that town up. Tell them you've been there. Make something up like 'it was great that it was only a 2 hour drive from Chicago'. If they are 20 hours from Chicago then they'll quickly say 'umm, no it ain't'.

Who's their fav pool player? etc.

Very easy to work out if they are for real when you actually talk to them. On the phone.

I generally use paypal G & S which I highly recommend, but might consider paypal friends and family if the person is well known by others on the site and has good reviews.

use f&f for goods, and you are basically cheating paypal. so you deserve what you get if scammed. as you are a scammer yourself.
