Down me all you want my friend.. Once you find out you have no shot to win unless you do what the competition is doing, You may do the same as well.. There are exceptions of course.. I wouldn't do anything to cause harm or things like that.

Look at the fast food joints for example.. One comes out with something new and then another shortly after.. Competition.. If they didn't they would most likely go down..

Never said what I did was right.. Just said if I wanted a fair shot then asking like some others was needed.

and I did come out in front of the whole board here and admit to it.. Willingly...

As far as integrity goes.. Anyone who knows me in person can vouch that I'm one of the most honest stand up people you will meet.. Even though my action here on asking for votes may not show that, Doesn't mean it's not true..

If I recall correctly you sent me a cue up front did you not? and you had no problems with getting the money or the cue back. I really don't think I'm personally in question here. But I suppose I could of said oh well instead of what I did.

Josh in my opinion, you should've let Tony know people were soliciting and hoped that your submission held up on it's merits alone. If not, and someone won by cheating that's their cross to bear and not yours.

What if you also PM'd asking for votes because two others did, and then you won. How would that make the remaining entrants feel who DIDN'T send out for votes? Would you feel like you deserved to beat those people who worked hard as well?

I have multiple friends who are amateur athletes. To get to the next level of their respective sports, they'd need to be taking performance enhancing drugs. Everyone else does to get to that level. They don't. They accept that as a compromise they are not willing to make and continue to compete as hard as they can. Naturally.

To me, there is more satisfaction in that.

Well, I didn't receive any PMs or e-mails asking for my vote and I didn't send any out. Since the current results are clearly skewed in favor of those that did, I think the only fair thing to do is to award ME the cue for my entry above.

It's true that I no longer actually play pool, but if you give me the cue, I will promptly Raffle it off in the new AZB Raffle Forum and spend the proceeds at my local poker room on Hold Em tournaments and daily 'Drink Specials"...

I agree with the above. Tony has gone way above and beyond the call to award three cues. I too am ecstatic to be a winner. Had Tony just given one, I would not have won, because I, like another entrant apparently, thought there was one that stood out above the rest (and it was not mine). So many thanks to Tony. Tony, I will PM you when I get back from vacation and we can work out details of the cue. I will make sure to throw in a request for a few upgrades so I can at least throw a little money your way for your time and effort.
