Whats a good poolhall in the area? Does anyone know of a 9ball tourny on Nov 26 (day after thanksgiving) The wife is dragging me up there to see the inlaws and I thought I might as well play some.

well there's a Tri-State tour stop kinda nearby on that Saturday in Edison, NJ. But you'll if you're not already a player on the tour, you'll have to pay for a membership fee too. I don't know of any poolhalls in Freedhold. But I do know that it's where Bruce Springsteen is from!!!
Bump it up. Someone has to know of a poolhall in the area.

Tourney on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday tourneys!
My weekly 9 Ball tournaments are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. THIS week, my Thursday tourney IS being held on FRIDAY AND the Tri-State tour will be at Sandcastle the following day, Saturday as well. I also host a weekly 14.1 Straight pool tournament on Sundays along with Pete Mizerak (Son of Steve Mizerak) if you enjoy shooting straight pool as well.

Drive straight up North on route 9 about 20 minutes toSayerville Prime Time. IF you go after five you want to look for Manny. He is there most days. He likes to play for cash. Usually small stakes, 20-50 a set. Sand Castle is about another 20 minutes north. Since, as you can see, the owner Sandman follows this site. He may be able to hook you up with a match.

No problem. Free practice starts at 7pm and the calcutta goes off at 8. The matches are called right after the calcutta. 16 - 25 players on average lasts till about 1am - 3am. Tournament details can be found here....
