The only cues that I have ever owned have been production cues. Some of them have been very nice, but I wanted something more personal. After doing some research I decided to contact Bryan Mordt about making a cue for me. Bryan was very easy to work with and made the experiance better than I could have hoped for. I live in Phoenix so I was able to go down to Bryan's shop and take a look at his cues that were in work. I was also able to hand pick the wood that he used to build the cue; it doesn't get more personal than that (unless of course I built it my self). The cue has two shafts (one 314), an ivory joint, 4 points 4 verniers(white, red, blue, black), white w/double black wrap and an ivory Hoppe ring (placed between Bryan's ringwork).

Enjoy the pictures!

Very nice.

The only thing I would have done different is to leave out the ringwork around the hoppe ring. Personal preference. Otherwise, looks very nicely executed.

Here are a few more pics

Great classic looking cue. I like the veneer colors you chose. BCM cues are on my long list of cues to hit with and try out. I have a feeling that if I wait too much longer his prices are going to be through the roof..............

I had the same feeling about the prices, so I decided to jump while I could still afford one. :)

I know that a lot of Hoppe fans would have perfered a plain Hoppe ring, but like I said I wanted this cue to be personal. I have always been a fan of the Hoppe and Titlist cues, but I wanted this to be a little different. I am very pleased with the final product.

Thanks for all of the comments, and by the way all of the photos were courtesy of Bryan Mordt. What a guy eh? Talented Cue Maker and Photographer! :D

Great looking cue, but more importantly how does it play!!! how would you compare the hit to other cues you have played with/owned.

I'm sure it has a MONSTER HIT and hits a TON.

P.S. The Oct. 06 issue of InsidePOOL Magazine features Bryan Mordt in the Cue Makers Corner article.

Very nice.

The only thing I would have done different is to leave out the ringwork around the hoppe ring. Personal preference. Otherwise, looks very nicely executed.
Koop - was thinking the same thing being that I love the plain Hoppe Rings

Very nice looking cue, good color combinations in the veneers and love the pictures.

Fred

I am registered but only found the first two from this year.
Just looked and all I can find are February and January 2005.
Would you PM me or post here the location of the other issues (I get the paper issues but would be nice not to hold them all).
