From a dream to reality - my Bob Danielson cue

Around the first of this year Bob Danielson contacted me to get a website made in exchange for a custom cue. I had this cue I had designed on my
computer, and sent it to him to see if he could build it. He said it wouldn't be a problem. So we decided to go ahead with the trade - I would build
his website and he would build me that cue.

Well both the website and cue are almost done. He sent me pictures of the cue today and I am absolutely blown away!! He matched the image I
sent him almost perfectly, the only differences are things I changed on him after I had created the image (ie the black outlines on the ivory). I am
very very impressed with what he has done, and I think you will be too!

Below is the computer generated image I sent him, with the cue he made me directly below it (the wrap isn't real on that cue, I just colored it black
to match better). The cue isn't totally complete - but you can tell that when it is, it will be incredible!!

--drumroll please---- :)

Very nice cue Zach. Is that Abalonya Burl in the forearm?
The cue looks sweet. Congrats to ya man.

Yep, it's ebony into amboyna. Rings are also amboyna bordered with silver and ebony. Joint, butt cap, windows, and short points, are all ivory.

I'm excited!! :D

Just talked to Bob - will be getting two shafts with matching rings and ivory ferrules/Kamui tips.

It's going to be like Christmas in July :D

Update - finish is almost done, should have the cue in my hands by the end of this month:
