I was able to visit Timmy's shop in the early 2000s. I was a young Airman stationed in D.C. A guy I used to play pool with a gentleman named George (in Northern VA) was a very good handyman, and Tim would give him cues in exchange for work. George apparently had quite a colletion. Well, one day George invited me to ride with him to Tim's shop. We stopped by some place and purchased a big mess of crab cake sandwiches. I didn't go with the intention of buying a cue, but Tim had some finished cues there ready to sell. I was young and broke, and said as much, but he gave me a super generous price on a little simple 4 pointer with veneers, and I was able to swing the cost. More than the cue, it was just fun getting to meet Tim, and Mike and hang out for the day. A lot of great players in DC used Timmy's cues. From the TS shop.
