This cue has a signature of Raymond Calvert 1989 ....

I am not familiar with this name or who possibly made it for him ?

Details :

Points- 3 High and 3 Low ....IMO Rosewood w/Green and Black veneers
into BE Maple front .
Appears to be White w/ Brown linen wrap

Butt:
3-Be maple windows seperated by Black/Green/Black veneers
each window w/Rosewood inlay and a Diamond inlay inside it (Bushka style diamond )
Weight .... 15.4 oz 19.5 oz w/shaft

Joint :
SS 5/16x18 Piloted

Ring work ;
Has Josswest dashed style on shaft and below collar ..Butt has Green then 2- maple then Green etc... dashed style.

Straightness :
Shaft is straight , been cleaned and had a Med. Hercules tip installed...

Dia. 12.98mm

Weight 4.1 oz

Both Butt and shaft were spun on Deluxe Hightower lathe and are straight !

Finish : Poor definitely could use a new Finish !!!

IMHO This plays similar to a Richard Black and or Josswest ...( YES, I have owned both so I know the difference..)

Raymond Calvert Cue

These cues were made overseas, for Adams Cues, and were a couple hundred bucks. These were decent cues, attractive and nice players.
