A fellow pool player needs some help and we are selling two cues to help fund his cause... 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these two cues owned by a friend and customer of mine, David Coates will go to the youcaring.com fund listed below. It will go directly to a friend & customer of mine, Staff Sergeant Muhammad O Ali to help him get the treatment he needs. He has been battling not only PTSD but TBI as well which is Traumatic Brain Injuries. He was there for our country and this is the least we can do for him. THE STORY FROM STAFF SERGEANT MUHAMMAD O. ALI
I served honorably in the Marine Corps for 12 1/2 years with multiple deployments in combat zones some of my awards or recognitions are 3 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and Purple Heart Medal. I am a civilian now who is struggling with Post traumatic stress disorder and Traumatic Brain injuries along with other physical and mental difficulties. I have tried to balance work, family and therapy in order to properly maintain sanity and heal but it has been futile. I have tried to file for social security disability and was denied. My VA disability benefits are being withheld because I was at wounded warriors battalion and just could not wait any longer for a medical retirement and opted for volunteer separation. Now due to miscommunication I have to pay back the Volunteer separation money back with my VA disability. The reason I am making this fundraiser page is to raise the money I need to pay necessary bills like Rent, Car Payment, Food, Insurance, Utilities and gas. Basically the bare necessities to survive while I check myself into the VA for inpatient help. I have swallowed my pride and realize after struggling for a year and a half that I need a hand up so I do not become a statistic. For your donation I will email you a short story about one of my deployments and what we endure on a Combat Deployment to give you insight on the psychological damage we bring back home with us.
