I have two cues for sale. I am not on the forums every single day, so please send any inquiries to chris.fitton@gmail.com about either of the cues.
Cue #1
Maker: Jeff Olney
Forearm: Pau Ferro
Handle: Birds Eye Maple
Butt sleeve: Pau Ferro
Length: 58"
Weight: ~19.0 oz. (I haven't had a chance to weigh it yet, but will if need be)
Tip Diameter: ~13mm
Tip: Triangle
Ferrule: Non-ivory (Jeff's usual material I would guess, anyone know?)
Pin: 3/8-10 G-10
Joint Material: Brown Phenolic
Buttcap: Brown Phenolic
Ringwork: Maple/Wood squares set into Black Phenolic located at A,B, and E.
Sold
Notes: I've only played with this cue a few times. The taper on the shaft left a little to be desired, so I had Dennis Searing sand the shaft down a bit. The cue responds a bit better now with a lot less squirt. The cue has a pretty solid hit which I've heard is what Olney's are known for. It's completely straight and well taken care of.
Cue #2
Maker: Carolina Custom Cue
Forearm: Ebony
Handle: Black with White Spec Irish Linen
Butt sleeve: Ebony
Length: 58"
Weight: ~19.0 oz. (I haven't had a chance to weigh it yet, but will if need be)
Tip Diameter: ~13mm
Tip: Moori Medium
Pin: 3/8-10 Stanless Steel
Joint Material: Non-Ivory, melamine if I was to guess
Buttcap: Non-Ivory, melamine if I was to guess
Ringwork: Silver rings in black phenolic at A and B. 2 silver rings in black phenolic with silver dots at C, D, and E. See pictures for a better understanding.
Price: $325 shipped OBO
Notes: I recently received the butt to this cue from Carolina Customs as a replacement to a BEM Merry Widow I had that had a warped forearm. I have only test hit balls with the butt, but I have had the shaft for about 2.5 years. It has no nicks and is straight as well as the butt. This cue plays nice and was my player minus the new butt for a while.
On to the pictures...
