Hello everyone. Here is something a little different. Kevin Varney made this for me in 2002. It is a nice Purpleheart J/B in very good condition.

Here is what makes it a little crazy . . . 26.9 OZ!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, I know . . . 1.9 ounces over the limit. 58-3/4" not including the bumper.
Originally had a ceramic tip from Kevin back when he was experimenting with those. That shaft broke when a friend thought he was Mike Sigel & snapped it Captain Hook style.
Local Lake Norman, NC cuemaker made a new shaft for it as well as beefed up the weight a little. Phenolic Tip as well. (he is a member of this board) Excellent J/B to take to your local bar tourny or league play where the weight of the cue will not be in question. This thing smacks the rack with little effort and jumps great too!

Would like $250 shipped. Price Negotiable if no interest.

Thanks alot & sorry about the crummy pictures,

"Local Lake Norman, NC cuemaker made a new shaft for it as well as beefed up the weight a little"....26.90oz
Can it be brought down or was that mod permanent?

That's alot of beef!

Hi Feltmaster,

I asked the same question last week and this mod was a permanent one.
More solid that way but also . . . . permanent, sorry.

I think the key with that much weight is slowing it down a little.

Break from the box, heck, head spot, and smack the head ball square @ oh . . . 75%-80% power and watch balls scatter.

Hey Felt,

I believe the experiment was adding weight to the butt just to see what would happen. Jump handle was left alone.

Shaft = 4.3 OZ
Jump Handle = 6.5 OZ
Butt = 16.1 OZ

Jumps great,
Hope that helps
