This is a beautiful case and exactly the style I am looking for. Unfortunately I am about to have knee surgery so can't really put that kind of money out for a case.
You may have a challenge selling at $600 given there are some JB's Flower's Cases selling new at around $400 online (which is about the only benchmark I can think of as far as materials, style, and quality), but I understand the price given the Justis reputation and what the original price for this case may be (and the potential demand).
PM me if you are ever wanting to move this and it isn't selling... but I won't be holding my breath... I'm sure I am not the only one thinking this is a beautiful case!![]()
This is completely ridiculous and against forum rules to post in someone else's for sale thread. You are not even comparing the same product! A JB Flowers Case is NOT a benchmark for a Jack Justis Custom Case.
This is a beautiful Justis Case and I would be shocked if it was still available after a few days. Should EASILY sell for the full asking price.
Gorgeous Case!!! Good Luck !!
I fully agree. When all the extras features and benefits are added up JB Cases tend to be way under priced for what you get. The J.Flowers series cases are also way under priced when compared on a point for point basis with most cases out there.
Now that said Jack Justis cases are well made, one at a time, by a master craftsman. I would bet that in 20 years there are less than 2000 Justis cases in existence, divided by about 400,000 fanatical players around the world means that there are only .0005 Justis cases per player. Which really means that there simply aren't many to go around. Jack has threatened to retire soon which means when he's done then there will be no more chance to get one from him and the real hoarding will go up.
I have one left and it IS NOT for sale unless I am offered an obscene - nice two week vacation on a beach for my wife and me type price.
This offering though is well priced and with our interior does offer the best of both worlds, Jack's legendary clean work and our fanatical protection.
I was offered this case and my wife's opinion was that if I bought another case I would sleep with them. Winter is coming and a warm wife beats a cold case no matter who made it. So this one is going to have another home.
I am not sure anymore what the benchmark in cases should be. So many good case makers out there now. I have my opinions, others have differing criteria. But you don't stay in business in this small tight world for 20 years without putting out a quality product. And by tight I mean a community discerning customers who understand quality and know how to judge it. So I say that the real benchmark is whether customers are genuinely happy with their purchases or not and from what I see that applies to Justis as well as J.Flowers customers.
Someone is going to get a real gem here. Good luck with the sale Mark.

Whoa there; sorry guys I did not mean to offend here. The point I was trying to make is that I would want to buy this case.
Additionally, I chose my words poorly about the pricing and haven't done my proper job of reading the forum rules - It looks like I was close to violation of rule #6: "If you are going to post in another's sale or trade thread, if you are knocking their thread, you will receive warnings and bans as with regular rule violations."
I apologize to the original poster for both breaking the rules and providing what is now clearly an uninformed opinion. After reading what you guys have said, I think I have a better idea about the value of this case (and how wrong I really was).
Please forgive me; I don't want any foes here and am making edits to my original post earlier in this thread.
