I recently bought an older black/brown 2x4 leather Instroke Cowboy case with a missing top latch (refer to pictures) with the intention of sending it to Instroke and having it repaired. It turns out that the older Instroke cases do not hold 30" butts as they are a couple of inches shorter than the newer Instroke cases which is the only reason why I'm selling this.
Case is in very nice used condition with a few minor scratches along the back. Interior is completely intact with no rips or tears. Pictures are courtesy of Pinocchio as I had previously bought this case from him and am too lazy to take new pictures. If you need any pictures of specific parts of the case, feel free to let me know and I will take them for you.
I am asking $90 via PayPal or $85 via money order/cashier's check; this price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail. I will consider trades but would prefer cash. Please PM me if you need any other info; if requesting new pictures, please remember to include an e-mail address. Thanks!

This case will fit 30" shafts and butts that are no more than 30.5" measuring from the bumper to the joint pin. I really would like to keep it as I, like many people, feel the older Instroke cases are about as good as it gets concerning production cases; it just sucks for me that the 2 cues I would usually carry in this case are both about 31.5" from bumper to joint pin.

I work nights so I wont be home till about 1am. I will measure my cues as soon as I get home and e-mail you. How much would it cost to have the clasp replaced/ fixed?

Instroke will do it for you if you send it back to them. Pretty much any cue repair shop could do the repair fairly cheaply. Someone on here had a post which showed where you could buy new clasps for around $8. Try doing a search for instroke clasp or case repair or something like that.

MY Cue's butts are 30 1/4" So I guess this case wouldn't work. :(

I tried to explain this in the PM, but I will try to clarify this for anyone else interested in the case. I apologize for not making this clearer in the initial post: if the butt, measured from the bottom of the bumper to the tip of the joint pin, is 30 1/2" or less, it should fit fine in this case. A standard 29" butt should fit fine unless it has an unusually long joint pin. Sorry for any confusion.
