I have a 30" McDermott I-2 Shaft for sale. 5/16 x 14 piloted thread. solid black phenolic ring at joint. great fit on my joss and tim scruggs cue.

I've only delt with one member on this forum so far. krbsailing bought the first I-2 shaft I had. Maybe it warped during shipping or I didn't notice it when I had it. It was warped. He sent it back and I refunded his money minus paypal fees. Sent it back to McDermott and they replaced it for free with this one. I paid a little extra to get the 30" replacement. I'll shipt it in the tube it was shipped to me in from McDermott.

Cue is slightly used. Less than 3 hours playing time. I'm selling to help fund the purchase of an Instroke case to protect my TS cue.

$150 including shipping and I'll accept paypal.

Thanks for the interest guys but I have to put this on hold for a while. After waiting 5-6 weeks for them to make me a new shaft after I sent the first one back. I got my new shaft the first week of May. I rolled it then to check to make sure it was straight and it was. At the time I posted this I assumed it was still good. I just rolled it again and I swear now its got a little wobble to it. The first shaft was bad enough that you could see the slight bend. Now this on just wobbles slightly like maybe the joint insn't exactly round but I can't see a bow anywhere in the shaft. At this point I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe try to sell it locally so the person can see exactly what the shaft is or maybe go back to McDermott and see what they will do. This is a little annoying.
 
I got to tell everybody how good the customer service has been at McDermott. They are paying shipping both ways for me to send the shaft back for them to look at. They have also been very fast to respond to my emails. I'm a little worried that maybe I'm being to picky about the shaft but I think as new as it is it should be perfect.
 
Here is the replacement I got from McDermott. Same specs as above and same price. The pics are worse because I had to use my ancient 1.3 MP camera. If you want better pics I can get them in a day or two. I just got it in today and haven't even taken it out of the plastic wrap yet.

Sorry about that. It did cross my mind but I thought it had been a couple of weeks and wasn't sure if the same people would still be interested. I thought if they were they would see the thread and respond again. I also didn't think someone would IM within 5 min of me posting the thread and immediately paypal me the money.

If I don't like the new 314^2 shaft I got coming, then I'll let you have the first chance at it:)
