FS: And Gilbert cue, wrapless with ivory joint

this is very surprising to me. imo this cue should have been scarfed' up at the original asking price. i know it's christmas time but come on people! to me this shows why some makers i've talked to are getting discouraged about making mid/lower priced cues. it seems like the spread of knowledge into allot of the posts on this site aren't being "learned". i figured from the know-how offered on this site alone, the "pupils" would have a good base on what to look for when certain cues are offered for sale. imo it's a shame. the "kids" aren't listening in class. andy's work should not be underrated and his cues don't deserve to be ones "cheapened". my .02

Just bought one of Andy's Jump/breaks from a fellow AZer...

Quickly became my favorite cue! Love the balance and the hit...so I've been using it as a play/jump/break. And it looks sweet...highly figured bocote butt and points on maple and a SW style maple ring, with some brown phenolic ringwork at the jump joint and some other nicer ringwork in all the right places...

ANDY GILBERT IS DEFINITELY ON MY LIST FOR FUTURE CUE BUILDS! Plan to make a matched set one of these days...

Hope this thing gets sold soon! Pretty ridiculous that it hasn't...
(I referred it to a friend of mine here at Emory, but he JUST got a new custom butt made by a local to go with his Tiger shaft, so he's not looking for another cue at this price just yet, unfortunately).

I'll keep trying, though! For your sake and Andy's!

I just think it's tough time of the year to sell ... it's OK, I will hold on to it and offer it early next year.

Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Last dance
Last dance for love
Yes, its my last change
For romance tonight

The cue will be hybernating after Dec 12th.

Man, that sucks. Such a sweet lookin' cue...

Ah, well...at least you get to look at it and play with it some more until it sells next year! Lol. :p

Bet its a beast on the table! I know I love my Gilbert... :D
