I bought Al's 1st edition of this Butterfly series and if it is anything like the one i have, it hits great!!! Truely hand made, the points from what ive seen are slightly off from being even (length wise) to show "originality" NOT imperfections, (in my opinion...i hate a perfect custom cue) and i had a Mezz bumper on it for an extention option. Couple of questions:

-What kind of Bumper is on it?
-Does the cue come with joint protectors?
-Is the ferrule honed out in the center? Mine had about a 1/8" hole down the center of the ferrule for "theory of hit" differences between makers. I honestly love it, its the ony ferrule i like next to the Joe Callaluca series  Is this ferrule solid or honed?

These cues are very very low deflection and have "a little...very little ping" to them (ast least on mine) However this price is definatly worth it to anyone paying w/ USA currency...def. a good buy if not investment!

:sorry: Best wishes to the situation with the weather over there...hope everything gets better for you.

thANKS for the compliment sir SaiyanRedDragon this cue is definitely worth the money..
answer to the question:

1. the bumper is ordinary, mezz bumper can be fitted
2. yes, the cue has matching joint projector,i'll post pics soon as possible
3. the ferrule is PVC, it has hole in the center, to provide solid hit

This cue plays very very good:grin::grin::grin: u wont be disappointed owning this cue. The best cue i've tried:grin::grin: I love the 1al1 shaft. I feel confident in my pocketing. makes me improved my game:grin-square:

Hi

This is certainly a nice cue bro (or is it Sis? hehe)... I really like butterfly cues b'coz of the color transition and contrast. And the tulipwood points blended well with the green and orange veneers. I plan to have one made too (I "think" only AL Bautista creates butterfly cues like these here in PI since he is the only one who could make the V-groove, am not sure :sorry:) to fit our Mezz shaft.

Good luck in your sale bro (or Sis)! God Bless!

Ps: Sorry to hear you got hit by the typhoon (Bagyong Ondoy). There is another one coming up this afternoon or tomorrow. Signal no. 2 has been raised in Northern Luzon. "Bagyong Pepeng" is now on Category 2 of Typhoons - its a Super Typhoon now compared to "Milenyo on 2007" and its winds are at 200 kph. :sorry:

Brace yourselves Filipinos - esp those who were recently affected. Be prepared and let us all pray for our safety. God be with us...

Bump! Bump! Bump...:grin::grin: Anyone Interested?? price can be reduced...:grin::grin:
