Here is a classy looking BEM plain jane with silver and leather from Carolina Custom Cues.

Length: 58 1/8" excluding tip and bumper
Forearm and butt sleeve: birdseye maple
Wrap: black textured leather
Rings: single silver ring on each joint collar; double silver rings with silver diamonds above and below wrap
Joint: black phenolic collars, 3/8x10 brass pin, flat-faced wood to wood
Tip: Tiger Everest (layered)
Weight: 18.9 oz. (adjustable by changing weight bolt); shaft is 3.6 oz.
Diameters: 0.520" (13.2mm) at top of ferrule; 0.842" at joint; 1.021" at ring above wrap; 1.212" at ring below wrap; 1.252" at bottom of butt sleeve; 1.240" at bottom of butt cap. Not for someone who insists on a slim-cut butt.
Butt cap: white, delrin-based resin, with trademark "CC"
Condition: nearly new. Used only a few times at home. Butt sleeve is slightly (maybe 0.001") higher than the butt cap because the sleeve has finish on it whereas this type of butt cap does not take finish (per Trevor at CCC). Slight wobble when rolled on a table -- maybe 0.025" difference between high and low points -- irrelevant to functionality.
Price: SOLD. No Paypal.

I'd appreciate hearing opinions from AzB'ers as to why this cue hasn't drawn a peep of interest in 48 hours. I view the cue as
Attractive
Well made
With nice rings
With a nice leather wrap
Inexpensive

True, it was not made by one of the venerable "names" of the industry. But the price would be MUCH higher in that case. And my understanding is that Carolina Custom Cues has established a solid reputation in a fairly short time.

Is it just "the market?"

Are buyers reluctant to deal with a fairly new member?

Thanks in advance for any comments or opinions.

nice cue!

just to let you know, Its not you. Reason this cue is getting any action is because of the slight wobble on the cue. For $300 its going to be a tough sell! Carolinas are awesome cues however, it does not draw much attention here for some reason.

Stay patience! you never know!

Bump from page 11 with a price reduction to $275.

In the previous post, mycustomcues suggests that the "slight wobble" I mentioned could be the cause of buyer reluctance toward this cue. Let me reiterate -- for purposes of playing pool with this cue, the wobble is completely irrelevant. It's small enough that previous sellers of this cue did not even mention it. And it has nothing to do with my reason for selling the cue. I'm selling it because I prefer a slightly smaller-diameter grip area.

I'll give a satisfaction guarantee. If you receive the cue and are dissatisfied with it, send it back to me within a few days (at your shipping expense) and I'll refund your $275.
