I've seen a standard G-10 sharpened on grinder an driven into a 2x4 with a hammer just like a nail. Try it they are bulldog tough. I asked a cuemaker the same question my reply was the visual.

this is a great price for a cue with joe's trademark "Logo" point, especially with the wood combo's, the addition of the silver diamonds and fancy silver ring work. for those who don't know his work, some of the highlights are the "fit and finish" and execution of the work are as close to perfect as your gonna' see in any cue. this doesn't even take into account the fact that they're great players as well. to me it's seems a no brain-er for someone who has never owned one to take a good hard second look.
