Here is a wrapless Dominiak Sweet 16 cue with red, white, and blue veneer rings added at the joint and above the butt cap. This cue is from a limited edition of these cues made in 2009. This one is new and unchalked.

Both the butt and the Dominator II shaft are 8 pie-shaped pieces of straight-grained maple radially laminated together. The "Kamui Equipped" on the shaft is just a plastic sticker that peels right off.

Specifications:
- Length: 29" + 29" = 58"
- Weight: 14.9 oz. + 3.4 oz. = 18.3 oz. (adjustable)
- Diameters: 12.7 mm at the tip, 0.847" at the joint, 1.258" at the bottom of the butt cap
- Ferrule: 3/4" melamine
- Tip: Kamui medium soft
- Joint: flat-faced wood-to-wood, Uni-Loc radial pin, black phenolic collar
- Rings: stacked-veneer ring packs in 3 positions: black/red/black/white/black/blue
- Butt cap: black phenolic with "D" logo
- Signed "William Dominiak" above the butt cap

Sweet 16's without the rings are priced at $289. With the rings, it would be well over $300. My price, with the rings and shipping (with insurance), is Sold delivered in the USA.

solid cue!

These are great hitting cues especially for the price. I have one as a break stick which is awesome. It has two shafts, one of which I had turned down to make it a player when my stick did not survive the transition into a javelin. I have nothing to do with the maker or buyer but just wanted to let you know they are very well made cues.

Thanks for your comments.

Does it roll straight? together and apart.

The straightness of this cue is very good. If I had a gun pointed at my head that would go off if I didn't answer with complete accuracy (short of doing measurements with a dial indicator on a lathe), I'd say:

- the butt alone has no wobble that I can detect visually while rolling it on a pool table;
- the shaft alone has an extremely small wobble that is detectable if your eye is nearly on the playing surface and you are watching closely for any variation in the air space between the table and the shaft;
- with the cue screwed together, the wobble is still slight, but perhaps a tad more than for the shaft alone.

I doubt that anyone buying this cue for the purpose of playing pool would have any cause for objection regarding the cue's degree of straightness.

The cue is as pristine as the day I received it.

Dominiak

Surprised this is still here. His cues play great, and his customer service is first rate.
