Up for sale, Ebony and Pernambuco.
First of the Ebony squares are 1.570"x1.570"x16. These are old, kiln dried, S4S, checked for defects and the ends are waxed. These are West African Ebony and the color varies from jet black to black with grey/brown. A number of them have interlocked grain, small amounts of curl or other features that make them very attractive. They are offered as random selection. Price is $26.50 each plus shipping. I have more but they need to be surfaced some more and sorted for defects yet but will be offered shortly.
The Pernambuco is from the late 80's and nearly the last of a stash that had been sitting for years. There are maybe 20-30 pieces left and I will pick those up next month. They have been jointed on 2 faces, sorted for color, culled for defects and are being offered by random selection, I will not pick for a certain color. The size is approx 1.400"x1.400"x 19". They may run as small as 1.350" one direction. The lighter color ones have been sorted out and are for sale for at $18.00 each. The darker ones are $26.00 each. When these and the next few I get are gone there will be no more coming through me.
