i literally JUST bought this on here..i got it monday evening, re-tipped it tuesday(local cuemaker ,prof. done) and shot with it tuesday evening and a few racks wed.im selling it thursday...lol

i bought it from a guy that claimed only Test hitting with it.. so it was BRAND NEW, id say more like it was played with for about a week...i shot about 7-10 racks with it..

NOT EVEN A HINT OF BLUEING, DINGS OR ANYTHING.. its still like brand new.. $175 shipped

if you wondering about the tip, every cue/shaft i buy i rip the tip off and put a kamuii on it no matter the condition of it (this one was new obviously)

the tip was perfect and new, i just prefer a kamuii black soft..which is on it. brand new ..shaped to a DIME...

reason im selling is im going to go with the ob2 (the one made for a schon).. I love the performance of this predator as its AMAZING, if you never used one you have to try it...

but as far as feel, for me, it ruined the schon feel and hit..imidiate differance in feel and even sound.. im wondering if the huge schon pilot has to do with it as the predator pilot is so small(regular piloted shaft) it wont touch in my butt, its no where near as solid of a hit as my schon shaft.

performance or feel, i choose feel..

anyone confirm how much of a differance that pilot makes?

You should try one of the Schon specific Predator shafts they sell at Seyberts. I got one for a McDaniel cue I owned and I had to turn down the pilot a smidge to get it to fit into the butt and it proved to be a great hitting, tight fitting shaft.

yeah, im going with one of the schon specific OB2 shafts..with the schon joint...im convinced the schon big tapered pilot has to do with the schon "solid" hit... i guess ill find out after trying it...

my old cue with the z shaft i loved years ago, sold it...then the last few months with my schon i got used to that schon feel...tried the 314/2 and just cant take that hollow hit..yes it performs great but if you play'd with a schon you know what i mean...

i didnt knowthey made a schon specific predator..prolly really expensive, the ob ones are affordable, in my eyes (180 vs predators 2xx)...

anyone have a schon specific predator and chime in?

anyone else conform my believes of the pilot on the schon making a huge differance?

I think it does 100% makes a big differance,But I also believe the inconsistency of the 314-2 can also be a problem.I've had a schon with a 1st generation pred and the hit was great but I'm a pred believer and I believe the 1st generation preds hit the best due to the ferrule material.The titan ferrule on the new ones have such a thin wall you would be shocked.But the schon pilot being so big and stainless steel it would definitley make for a better hit if it was more snug.Any type of air gaps and that includes the tip,can cause the loss of feel and a distorted sound.Good luck.Sorry for the long rant:eek:
 
i 100% agree...my old cue (4k6 predator) with the first gen predator z shaft i loved, felt solid to me..i sold it a few years ago and recently got back into shooting and bought a schon... after playing w this 314/2 i cant imagine it was like that..

i know alot of people that swear by these and love them...prolly one of the best performing shafts out there...

im just spoiled w the schon hit..

THIS SHAFT IS STILL FOR SALE, ITS GOT 15 WATCHERS ON EBAY AND A BUNCH OF HITS, NO BIDS..
