I have a Gilbert J/B cue, signed/dated "Gilbert 2000". Cue is dark Bocote...looks color of Cocobolo.
Weighs 18.9 oz
13mm shaft.
Has a layered tip on it (looks like Moori)...not a hard tip...
Some minor dings in the butt and a couple of typical break cue scratches on the ring of the shaft...a very nice cue.
Great Gilbert ring work at A,B &E.
3/8x10 W/W joint.
This cue has a very nice hit and can easily be a jump, break, and play cue.
Cue is very straight together and apart.

Nice cue

I played with this cue Monday night and liked it a lot (i.e., nice weight,balance,hit). If I hadn't just gotten a new cue I would have bought it. As it is, if I bring home another cue at this time ..... The cue is as described. Good condition with only minor dings from use.
