In the 2nd pic, the back of the case, the lid appears to not seat on one side. Is there a gap in the lid material on the seam side? Im interested which is why I ask. Thanks.

There is a small gap. I apologize I was in a hurry when I posted this. Looks like the leather was not wrapped perfectly straight? Can probably be fixed/trimmed but I wouldn't know how. Pics of front and back of case:

That is a very nice case and good price. The lid probably could be replaced from GTF free of charge, not sure of how the pattern and leather will match up though on a replacement. I would talk to John Barton about it.
