I am trying to raise money to purchase a cue from a fellow AZer. This is the third cue I have for sale.

I believe this to be a Helmstetter VIP series cue. In particular a VIP-I5 model. This is an OLD school looking cue that hits nicely. Includes one shaft. I was going to get this one refinished but decided against it because I think it is nice enough as it is. One of my favorite lower end cues. Includes original shaft.

All I can say is WOW. Unfortunately I will need to decline. If I wasn't raising the funds for a cue purchase I would definitely consider your generous offer.

Just hope I don't regret the decision.........

One day, the cue collecting public will recognize Richard Helmstetter as one of the great innovators of his time, in sense of style, and scientific genius. His designs were manufactured in Japan. And? He is still a great innovator for one of the largest golf equipment manufacturers in the world. A fluke? I don't think so. These cues will, one day, see their true merit, and be valued as such, even in a community like this, who cannot see through the smoke of valuing 1 off customs as being a better end product than someone who helped teach the world how to make a cue.

You are correct about these cues. This is actually one of my favorite Bushka style cues. This will make a great old style player cue for someone that is reasonably priced. Heck maybe I should raise the funds some other way......... ;-)
