I have a practically brand new J&J J/B shaft with phenolic ferrule and a Samsara hard leather J/B tip on it. Shaft weighs a meaty 4.5oz, and is 13.0mm.
I used it for maybe 10 or 12 breaks, but realized it was just slightly too heavy for me. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, and may look like the standard single-piece phenolic tip/ferrule, but the ferrule was flattened and a Samsara J/B tip put on.
