FS: JB toughlove/gator case

Great lqqking case ! What kind of hardware is on it ? Chrome , brass or the blacked out ? Does it have the puzzle magnet type closure ? Does it have a rubber skid type bottom ? Thanks alot . . . Scott

The puzzle latch is not magnetic, but it isn't going to move until you move it. These cases are every bit as nice as they look, and built like tanks...nothing is going to happen to your cues while inside one of these! What happens to them once you take them out....is on you! LoL!

Honestly...even if the lid accidentally came open, which it won't, but if it did....the case can be turned completely upside down and the cues are going nowhere...I know, I've done it!

This is a bad ass case. Many years ago I cam across a batch of similar gator prints where each skin was multi-colored. I did a batch of Instroke Limiteds using this leather and called them Alligator on Acid. When I debuted them at the next Vegas show as the centerpiece of my display they flow off the walls. So when I found some similar leather last year I bought it with the intention of doing a few more cases along those lines. This is one of them.

I told Djay that online people don't often appreciate cases like these because it's really hard to get a feeling for the texture of the leather. At shows they sell easily because of the tactile feeling of the gator combined with the smooth luxury of the nappa.

Anyway, last year we made about 130ish JB Cases. For the whole world. Using this leather we made about three or four and all of them are different.

So something for you to consider when looking at this case. We are not a factory, this is not a production case. It's an extremely limited example of our work and every bit as meticulous as our custom work. Whoever gets it will know the instant that they open the package that they didn't pay enough for what they got.

Antique brass, puzzle-twist latch, rubber bottom. Has the jump-butt handle compartment as well.
