I have 1 first quality Black chrome-tanned Kangaroo whole hides for sale. These came from...where else...Australia. They are first quality 1-1/2 oz., (approximately .6mm or .024 in thickness). The hides are roughly 4-5 square feet and should give about 7 or more wraps per hide. The leather is soft and you must have good technique to install it on a cue. I simply have too much of it so I am offering them here.

Since the last one left is smaller than the rest, it is $20 each plus $7 shipping in CONUS (will be shipped rolled). Add 3% PayPal. You will receive a hide similar to the one pictured. Thanks, Martin

umm

California is the only state that bans kangaroo leather. I don't know why but many catalogs that sell kangaroo leather goods have a disclaimer that they can't ship to Cali.

Would it be usable to recover a cue case? 1x2 super Mac.

With good technique, I don't see why not. Roo is some of the strongest leather there is. This leather has an un-carded/ loose feel to it and should easily wrap around a tube.

I've got a cue with a brown, stacked, kangaroo leather wrap and it's pretty sweet. It's softer than leather and very smooth, and has with time gotten almost slick. It's color has kind of evolved as well, getting darker in areas where my hand is placed more often.

I've put this on at least a dozen on cues over the past 2 years. The texture is basically smooth like glove leather. If you're not patient, you'll be pulling the wrap off and starting over.

Sir,
Can you give me a basic thickness of the leather and if you still have some available?

Hi Richard, About 3 hides available right now. Fairly consistent thickness at .022-.024. Requires patience and good hands to install.
