Well talk about bad timing for buying a new cue. Just got notice today that I'll be laid off soon and will be needing all the cash I can get. Right after I just bought this cue from a member here 1 week ago. I actually just paid Mike to make the second shaft and extension for the cue this weekend as well, sad sick timing. Oh well…
Anyways, the cue is a Mike Lambros Sneaky that Mike himself said he just finished a couple of weeks ago. It was made from a Duff blank of what is supposedly ebony into maple, but Mike thought it was more of an African Blackwood? I don't know but its a beautiful deep dark brownish color into straight grain maple. Cue with Shaft 1 has literally 1 week of play on it with no dings or dents that I can see. Shaft 2 has about 4 hours of play.
Specs:
Butt: 15.7oz
Shaft 1: 12.9mm, 3.75oz, rolls straight apart but when screwed together had a little lift at the tip. Had Mike take a look. He tweaked the joint and it rolls practically straight now. *This shaft does not have that last tight turn that Lambros shafts are known to have. Still tight, but for some reason it seems the tenon was slightly sanded down. Talked to mike and he said it tightens down just as tight as his other shafts when fully together. Plays like normal and probably wouldn't notice any difference except if you compare it to the newer shaft. New price will reflect this.
Shaft 2: 12.7mm, unsure of weight, rolls straight together and apart
Practically brand new triangle tips on each shaft
Ultra Joint
Joint Protectors Included
Curly Maple Extension
Asking for NO LONGER FOR SALE. I'll cover paypal fees. Any questions just pm.
