thats odd....my mace has the mace engraved in the black butt cap horizontally if the cue is standing upright....? nice cue and good asking price....i wouldn't sell mine with one shaft for that. someone is going to get a good deal
 
yeah, i have had this cue for several years and just quit playing. that is the way they all used to be.

Rick made my Mace in 1992 and it is written the same as this one.
