I have a 29yr old McDermott D-14 all orginal. I got it from the original owner on a trade deal who ordered it in 1984 from McDermott. 58" weighs about 19.8oz the shaft is dead straight. 12.5mm Kamui Black tip. The finish is rough at the butt cap and joint. Just like most old McDermott cues. And it does have signs of use. It has some dings but nothing deep that can not be fixed with a re-finish. It has one nick in the leather that is on the surface and does not go all the way through.
