FS: Mike Stacey 4 pointer, linen wrap with 3/8x11 thread

Hidy Ho

Missed 4 rail hanger!!!
Silver Member
Just a simple 4 pointer from Mike Stacey made in 2004. It comes with one shaft. Both shaft and the cue has black and white ringwork near the joint.

Per Duke@neo.rr.com "its an ok cue, but all it looks like to me is an "upgraded" sneaky pete" cue."

The cue is straight together and apart. There is no noticeable dings or flaws on the cue except that the ring below the wrap, where darker wood meets maple, can be felt and there is slight discolor in the black buttcap.

I think the dark wood is rosewood but not sure.

$225 shipped to lower 48 states

Weight: butt - 14 7/8 shaft - 4 1/4 for total of 19 oz. There's no weight bolt inside the cue

Shaft: 13+mm .. my scale read 13.4mm, lightly used and straing

Thread: brass 3/8x11

Length: 58 inches

Thank you for your expert opinion of the cue!!! Very much appreciated. I've updated my description of the cue ...

Oh my god .. .does this mean I'm selling a full spliced cue? should I charge more?

That would be a pretty low price for a full splice cue with rings and a wrap. Its a pretty low price regardless.

Good luck with your sale Jazz.

This really bums me out .. another lost sale opportunity to a fine member of the board :( :( :(

Thanks for helping me out on the thread anyway.

P.S. Is my Engrish getting any better?

fine member? you're the first one in a while to call me that. I was hoping it would be a 4 point cue by the title, but was disappointed by the actual cue. yes, your "engRish" is fine Jazz...haha I know you may think I'm busting them for ya, but the description should have been a little clearer...thats all

Once again, I'm very sorry to have disappointed you .. I did the next best thing as updated by description with your expert opinion for the benefit of others.

In advance, I'd like to apologize for my photos ... I don't they are as clear as they should be either.

I don't think it's the camera's fault though .. I, yes I, am a lousy photographer .. and a lousy salesman ... and a lousy gambler ... and a lousy son ... but I digress.

Now back to a sale of, Per Duke@neo.rr.com, "its an ok cue, but all it looks like to me is an "upgraded" sneaky pete" cue."

I think the cue is a super nice cue for a even better price. Regardless whether it's a "upgraded sneaky" Well anyway, Jazz good luck with your sale. You have an awesome cue there and someone will get a great deal.

You should be ashamed charging $225 for a sneaky pete, upgraded at that!!!!

If I'm not careful this will be the 3rd cue in one day I've agreed to buy from Jazz - boy, that guy can sure pool the wool over one's eyes. :p

Ross - you missed an interesting day with the old Ags - over 60 of them at Jillian's!
